Fopsec contains Atorvastatin which is synthetic lipid lowering agent. It lowers Plasma cholesterol and lipoprotein levels by inhibiting HMG-CoA enzyme and cholesterol synthesis in the lever. It reduces Total cholesterol, LDL, VLDL, Triglycerides and Apoprotien-B. it use in Primary and Secondary prevention of Coronary artery diseases.
