Glioptim
Description:
GLIOPTIM contains Glimepiride (third generation sulphonylurea) used as first line therapy after failure of diet and exercise,
to lower the blood glucose in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus whose hyperglycemia cannot be controlled by diet and
exercise alone. GLIOPTIM may be used concomitantly with Glucophage (metformin) when diet, exercise, and GLIOPTIM or metformin
alone do not result in adequate glycemic control.
